Notice on IELTS Test Epidemic Prevention and Control Arrangement at Renmin University of China

Following the instructions from National Education Examinations Authority and Renmin University of China on Covid-19 prevention and control, in order to strictly implement epidemic prevention and control measures after test resumption, test takers who registered for IELTS test at Renmin University of China need to be aware of the following important notice:

 

1.    Epidemic prevention and control requirements:

On test day, all test takers must present paper IELTS Test Admission Ticket and valid ID document. All test takers must present the negative nucleic acid test report within 48-hour valid period on test day, both paper version and digital version are accepted. All test takers need to ensure that the Beijing Health Code and valid "travelling code for the past 14 days” are green codes and accept body temperature check (below 37.3 can take the test). According to the latest epidemic information released by the State Council in real time, test takers from medium-risk or high-risk areas and overseas or who are still in the home isolation period cannot enter the campus. Test takers must have no travel history outside Beijing and epidemic-related areas in the 14 days prior to the test, and no history of contact with covid-19 cases and people with high-risks of getting infected.

Please note that for test takers who do not have a mobile phone need to have their guardian add the "Other People's Health Code for Inquiry" information in advance, and present it before the candidates enter the campus; if the candidate does not have a phone number, they need to provide the guardian's Beijing health code and travelling code for the past 14 days- green codes, and provide relevant documents: Resident household registration book, and present it on behalf of the examinee before entering the school.

2.    Test centre location:

2F-4F, Xueyan Building, No.7(JIA) Tsinghua Donglu, Haidian District, Beijing. No personal vehicle is allowed in the campus.

3.    Before test takers entering campus, they should follow the instructions as below:

1)    Test takers must wear a face mask during the test.

2)    All candidates must ensure that the Beijing Health Code and valid "travelling code for the past 14 days” are green codes. Test takers who have travelled outside of Beijing in the 14 days prior to the test date cannot attend the test.  All test takers must present the negative nucleic acid test report within 48-hour valid period on test day.

3)    Test takers who do not have a mobile phone need to have their guardian add the "Other People's Health Code for Inquiry" information in advance, and present it before the candidates enter the campus; if the candidate does not have a phone number, they need to provide the guardian's Beijing health code and travelling code for the past 14 days- green codes, and provide relevant documents: Resident household registration book, and present it on behalf of the examinee before entering the school.

4)    Test takers will need to go through temperature check. Those whose temperature is at or higher than 37.3 degrees Celsiuswill not be allowed to enter the campus.

5)    Test takers must present your Paper IELTS Test Admission Ticket. Test takers please reserve enough time for prevention control measures on test day. Parents or companions are not allowed into the campus.

6)    Test takers must present personal ID. (Please bring your National ID card or passport with you for identity verification on test day. Your ID should be consistent with the document used by the candidates when registering).

7)    Test takers are requested to arrive at the test venue 30 minutes before the test time, to complete the epidemic prevention inspection in advance.

8)    Please leave the test venue as soon as possible after the test (leave the campus from the South-West Gate), and do not go to the non-exam area for activities.

4.    Taxis, hired cars, and private cars are prohibited from entering the campus.
