As notified by the British Council, following the instructions on Covid-19 prevention and control, in order to strictly implement epidemic prevention and control measures after test resumption, test takers who registered for IELTS test at Northwestern Polytechnical University Computer-delivered IELTS Test Centre need to be aware of the following important notice:

1.    On test day, according to the latest epidemic level information released by the State Council in real time, test takers from medium-risk and high-risk areas in China and overseas or who are still in the home isolation period (The travelling code is not green) cannot enter the campus to take the IELTS test. Test takers who have been in medium-or-high-risk areas within 14 days cannot enter the campus to take the IELTS test. Test takers must ensure that the "Shaanxi Health Code" and valid "travelling code for the past 14 days " are green codes (green code with an asterisk mark* can be acceptable). Test takers also need to accept body temperature check (below 37.3℃ can take the test). Since 05/04/2022, all test takers from low-risk area must hold and submit a paper or electronic version 48-hour nucleic acid test certificate (negative is acceptable) on the first test day.

2.    The test venue is School of Continuing Education, Xiyuan, Northwestern Polytechnical University, No. 118 Laodong Road South, Lianhu District, XiAn, Shaanxi (Please enter the Xiyuan campus from the South Campus)

3.    Before test takers entering Northwestern Polytechnical University, they should follow the instructions as below:

1)       Test takers must wear a face mask.

2)       All test takers need to present valid ‘Shaanxi Health Code-green code’. The candidate should apply and scan health code in advance and can only be allowed to enter the campus with a green code. Test takers also need to present valid travelling code for the past 14 days. The candidate should apply travelling code through the WeChat micro program “The State Council Client” in advance (only green code is acceptable). Since 05/04/2022, all test takers from low-risk area must hold and submit a paper or electronic version 48-hour nucleic acid test certificate (negative is acceptable) on the first test day.

3)       Test takers must present your IELTS Test Admission Ticket. Test takers please reserve enough time for prevention control measures on test day. Parents or companions are not allowed into the campus. If their test is scheduled in the morning, test takers can only be allowed to enter and leave before noon time. The same rule applies for those whose tests are scheduled in the afternoon. Test takers will not be allowed to enter the campus for test venue check before the test.

4)       Test takers must present your National ID card. (Please bring your ID card with you for identity verification on test day, even though you registered the IELTS test by passport.)

5)       Test takers will need to go through temperature check. Those whose temperature is at or higher than 37.3 degrees Celsius will not be allowed to enter the campus.

2.    Taxis, hired cars, and private cars are prohibited from entering the campus.
