Notice on IELTS Test Epidemic Prevention and Control Requirement at Peking University Test Centre

Following the instructions from PKU on Covid-19 prevention and control, in order to strictly implement epidemic prevention and control measures after test resumption, test takers who registered for IELTS tests at PKU Test Centre need to be aware of and act as the following requirements:

1.    Test Venue Address:

Peking University, No.5 Yiheyuan Road Haidian District, Beijing (enter from the South-East Gate of the campus)

2.    When entering test venues, test takers must follow with the instructions as below:

1)       Test takers must present your National ID card or Passport.

2)       Test takers must present your IELTS Test Admission Ticket.

3)       Test takers from medium or high-risk areas are not allowed to enter the venue.

4)       Test takers must wear a face mask (except for identity authentication) and receive the body temperature check, for those whose temperature is at or higher than 37.3 degrees Celsius will not be allowed to enter the campus.

5)       Test takers must present valid ‘Beijing Health Code-green code’ and ‘Travel Code’, and can only be allowed to enter the test venue with green codes. Teenager test takers who do not have a mobile phone need to have their guardian add the "Other People's Health Code for Inquiry" information in advance, and present it at the gate before the candidates enter the campus.

6)       Test takers must have no travel history outside Beijing and epidemic-related areas in the 14 days prior to the test, and no history of contact with covid-19 cases and people with high-risks of getting infected.

7)       Test takers are required to provide negative nucleic acid test reportwithin 48-hour period valid on both speaking and writing test dates.

8)       Taxis, hired cars, and private cars are not allowed to get in the campus.

9)       Friends or families of test takers must not gather at the gate or enter the campus.

10)    Test takers must keep distance of 1m between each other when waiting in line in the test area.
